We Are What We've Read
What's the purpose of this Wiki?
English majors read. That's what we do. Some days we feel like we hardly breathe or eat anything but books. But do we remember what we've read? Sometimes we do. Sometimes we don't.
The advisors of the Alpha Epsilon Alpha chapter of Sigma Tau Delta at The College of New Jersey (the English honor society) want to create a space where we can all keep track of what we read and talk about our favorite books, the books that changed our lives, and the books we never want to read again. Of course, it's simplistic for us to talk simply about books: please talk about the poems, plays, essays, anecdotes, epigrams, epitaphs, and maxims that you've read as well. In other words, if you read it, you can track it.
Please feel free to use this space to talk about literature in general. Impress us all with your reviews of recent plays or your take on local poetry readings.
So what are our categories?
We're going to start simply with the following categories: American Lit, British Lit, World Lit in English, World Lit in Translation, Young Adult Literature and Graphic Novels. Editions change, so please just put the author and title of the work in question.
